OPENING OF THE SARGADELOS CARLOS MASIDE MUSEUM

The SARGADELOS - CARLOS MASIDE MUSEUM was inaugurated on 17 July 2023. Probably the most outstanding gallery of 20th century Galician art. The collection has original works by the most important figures of that century, from Castelao, the seed of the renovation movement, to more recent artists such as Patiño or Leiro, as well as Laxeiro, Colmeiro, Maruja Mallo, Souto, Seoane, or Maside.

The SARGADELOS - CARLOS MASIDE MUSEUM is in a socio-cultural complex designed, financed and managed by the SARGADELOS business group in O Castro, Sada (A Coruña). And next to it are located one of the SARGADELOS production plants (which can be visited by the public), a shop, with an outstanding design by the same firm, and a tavern that will surprise you with its atmosphere and local dishes.

But the building that houses the painting collection will amaze you with its hexagonal shapes, its circular staircase and its floor that aims to transmit the spirit and colour of SARGADELOS.

It can be visited on friday from 10:30 to 14:30.
