The San Xoan parish church of Portomarín is one of the most important Romanesque monuments of the Way of Saint James and it is related to the legends of flooded cities. After seven centuries, in 1963 it was moved stone by stone to the top of the Christ Mountain, where a new village was designed, and it was declared as a Historical Artistic Set.
Sargadelos, loyal to its ideology of analyse the uniqueness that distinguish the ancient art of Galicia, studied decorations in relief for tableware and it named them Portomarínico. Following the style of the iconic tableware we offer a new line of lighting that stress the translucency of our porcelain and enhances the features of the relief
